When you cover the carb with your hand you cut off the air going over the enrichner port and no fuel is drawn up. Enrichner on, a couple of priming kicks then enrichner off, ignition on and kick. Depending on the bike you may need to just leave the enrichner on until it's running. (in reply to smallmouth6810) Post #: 2 RE: super e problems - 6/4/2008 2:12:58 PM    pittguy   Posts: 2014 Joined: 7/22/2006 Status: offline If you had the bowl off check to see if ejector oring is still there.Item #40 on parts breakdown.This oring is famous for sticking enough and falling off unnoticed.Will cause the symtoms you describe.Idle problem could also be an intake leak,improper idle mixture or idle rpm setting.Rare but also sticky advance.
