Default Primary chain case

A question for the gurus! Changed the fluids on my 05 RKC this afternoon and the good book calls for 32oz in the chain case and it should take it to bottom of clutch spring. I put in 32 oz and you can just see it at the very bottom is this enough fluid? i know it is not good to overfill either. thanks SK

32 is good. The bike has to be level, and straight for this test. It's crazy that the oil test is on the side stand, and the primary fluid test is on a jack, but that's HD. Logic does not always apply.
