well just figured i would post some pics of the old bike(sally) I have had it red for about 3 years and finally decided that i wanted to change it. always wanted a blue and white combo so figured heck why not. still have some work to do, scuff, pinstripe it and then reclear it all, but should be done by monday. just couldnt wait to see what it was gonna look like so i had to set the tins on.will post some completely finished pics when done. also still undecided on the bars. Apes or Beach, let me know what ya think, later fuzzy...
before
After. House of color blue metal flake, custom mixed blue base. custom mix white base. custom mix pearl over the white.
I was more thinking how low that rear end sits. My shovel used to have 10.5" shocks and it would bottom out REALLY fast. The right side rear muffler is flattened and the kickstand has been dragged, oh, about half million times...
I changed up to Progressive 11"ers and I still drag **** all the time. Yours is much lower than mine ever was!
In any case, cool bike. Looking forward to seeing it all finished.
yeah stupid me,lol. i was thinking about that after i posted. but its not a problem as they are air shocks and go up to 13.5 eye to eye. just have them let all the way down there. sorry for the confusion. I better think before posting next time.

Very Classic looking! great job [8D]
where did you come up with that flake blue color?
what clear are you using?
both bars are too extreme for me I'd shoot for middle ground {but thats just me}.
can't wait to see what you are going to do with the pin stripes?
keep them pictures coming.
the metal flake is house of color, large metal flake, but they discontinued it, with a PPG custom mixed base blue.the clear is Dupont(IMRON aviation clear) very very strong stuff. the white is PPG straight pigment white, and pearls are a custom blend.
