This type of post above is the reason that I didn't post the price.

Too many "experts" here that are willing to lower the price to suite themselves and aren't even interested in the bike.

There is a lot of extras over and above the bike here that go with it.

I did`nt mean you any harm at all , just that when I sell something I let people know what I want for it right up front , glad they put the prices on the bikes at the Harley shop and you dont have to go ask the price of each bike that you or interested in , good luck selling it .

I guess this is one of those "if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it" situations.
If you are serious post price or if just lonely and want email then do what you're doing!

You got it half right. I am serious, just not posting the price here. I'm sure it bothers some that like to knock every post about price.

I think you're wrong about not posting the price, and I know what the price is. It's a great bike in perfect condition, with lots of tasteful additions. You're price isn't going to get knocked, because unlike some of the ones that do get knocked, your bike at the price you are asking is a good deal.

OK Wally

Watch where this goes now. You'll see the typical comments like "You'll never get that price, the market is soft" and "you can't get back the money for the upgrades" and "I bought that same bike last week for $2000" yada yada yada.
I even had one reply telling me that the dealer wouldn't give me that price for the bike.....That's a no brainer being they deal in wholesale (trade in) prices.

>>>I think you're wrong about not posting the price<<<

I know damn well he's wrong. Most people have a budget, and no matter how good the deal, they are limited in what they can do. Posting the price saves both the buyer and seller time. You're always going to get hammered on your asking price, even if you were giving the damn thing away. Someone will want to know why you can't throw in a tank of gas, and free shipping. But if your skin if that thin, you're probably in the wrong arena.

Oh yea, good luck with the sale ! ! !

It does mean something. If you're looking strictly at price, buy the white one.
If I had the money for a nice Road King, and I was picking one of these two, if would be a very simple choice. The blue one is a way better deal.
The Blue one is a far supperior bike and it's only a few dollars more. To put things into perspective, you couldn't do the chromed out handlebar controls for the 1,500 bucks difference.
The chrome front end will run you another $1,000 and theres lots more to the Blue one.
That said, the white one is a beauty also, but the way things work, the more stuff you instal on your bike, the bigger the pounding you're going to take when you sell it.
Peppi, is about to take a much bigger beating (sorry Peppi, but it's the truth) on his bike.
IMO, the smart money would be on the blue bike. It really is a hell of a deal.

Thanks for that Wally. I guess where ever you go and whatever you do, there's a yanker going to try to make you look bad by doing what was done here by StankyWanky.(very apropriately named)

Some have little to do in life other than to rain on someone elses parade. I take it as a grain of salt for what it's worth, in this case very little.

I guess the important thing here is that I'm riding this bike and he's not!

peppi,
I think it's very fair.  I'm glad you posted the price.  This not only shows what your asking but gives a comparable price to the "Basic" bikes without the upgrades, warranty...
Good job and excellent taste.
