Hey guys and gals, new to this forum seems pretty informative and a good place to share and help each other, looking forward to both. My problem at present is my oil pressure guage on my 2006 street glide. Bike sounds and runs awesome but at times (not all the time) the guage is all over the place, I assume at operating temp it is supposed to be around 32 psi or lower when idling, other bikes and ppl I have talked to seem to agree. Somtimes for no reason mine will spike up to 65 as I am throttling up and then go down to normal 32 when I level out. Other times when cruising at top speed it will rise again then go back down shortly after. I notice no noises or lack of power and it doesn't do it all the time, somtimes days in between. I have heard it might be a bad ground or somthing? I just don't want to run into any problems or worries. any advice or help? thanks :)

Rig up a mechanical gauge to test it out. Probably ground or sender is bad if the mechanical shows pressures as stable. If it behaves the same with mechanical gauge could be a sticking relief valve in the pump. Ron
