I just piss in the sink.

If you are going to piss in the sink, be sure to move the dishes aside first.

It's just more fun to step outside.

Ha ha ha!  You sound like me.  I swear, I'll walk past a bathroom to go outside to p*ss.  lol...  People laugh at me for that.  Been that way since I was probably 4 years old.  My mom said I used to go out in the yard to p*ss regularly.

I've had a urinal in my garage for several years. A lot a beer gets drank out there it was kind of a necessity. There is a steep hill out behind the garage, I just piped it out and ran some drain tile and gravel down the hill. Can't smell a thing.

Years ago when I did a lot of DX'ing on 20 Meters at my buddies garage , he has a flexible funnel running through the concrete wall to the outside. Just take out the plug do your business and put the plug back. Got a little rank in the summer but it did surve it purpose. Hell of a lot cheaper that a urinal.

Many years ago in Denver, I had the ham shack in the garage and would go out the back door and pee on my ground rod. When I moved from that house and disconnected the ground, I found that the ground rod had corroded totally in two. I have no idea how long I had been without a ground.

You want a kick-ass urinal?  Get an old Kawasaki gas tank and mount er up on the wall and plumb it in with the urinal flush valve and everything!

Riders will line up and pay ya good money just to whiz in the thing!!

You live in Lake Arrowhead Kalifornia. There is no way that is legal. I don't think they even like us to piss standing up here.

But if you do install it

don't shake your buddies hands when they leave.

Ok.  Lime, fan, light, rinse bucket, magazine rack, medicine cabinet, door.   You know, I don't want this to look too good, otherwise it will lose its character.

I built a 30x40' shop about 100yds from the house. I live in the county. Dug a trench from the house to the shop and drilled a hole thru my basement wall, tapped into the waterline in the house and ran water to the shop. Next step was to put in a big double sink on the wall of the shop. next step was I got one of those faucets that you see on a farm or ranch that when you shut the water off it all drains out the bottom, well when I poured the concrete for the floor I stuck a coffee can where I wanted all the plumbing to go out of the shop and then installed that faucet thru the hole in the floor thru the hole in the sink where you would put faucets and then installed the stand up urinal next to the sink got one of these

and added a hose to that and stuck the other end of the hose in the top hole of the urinal and walla, lift the handle on the faucet to flush. Running out of the shop is a perforated pipe with gravel under the pipe and on top of the pipe. Works like a charm.

Good idea.  I thought a french drain would work as it did for you.  The biggest thing I want to avoid is odor.  The law regarding expelling gray water here is you cannot do so above ground (where children vould get exposed).  Thanks for the input and ideas.

I have 2 buddies with them.  One used a large funnel and used PVC pipe to route outside.  The other stole one of the cool plastic ones out of a port-a-john and mounted in the corner.  Both plumbed outside.  Dig a ten foot trench out back preferably down wind.  line the bottom with course gravel or limestone.  Install a large perferated plastic drainage tile, bury it with more course stone then compact sand and replace the soil.  The recycled hops and herbs will flow out and into the drainage tile and filter into mother earth.  No smell, no foul.  Dont forget the piss biscuit.  Hopefully the one that says "Smile Shorty."  I think the Red/Green show had an episode with this.

I have a sink in mine.  Really useful.  You can wash your hands & get right back to work.  A Urinal would be useful also especially for the beer drinking drunk girls!

I too have a sink ... with it, I don't need a urinal

My brother is a plumber and got a urinal out of a school and I installed it in my shed. I run PVC outside and into a trench I dug then I drilled about 100 holes in a 3 ft piece of PVC covered it with gravel and then with dirt and grass. Had it for over two years comes in very handy and no odors either.

I've always thought it would be cool to mount three or four old urinals out side on the side of the house and use them as flower planters then piss on the flowers!

Damn I'm glad I live where I don't see neighbors! I actually plumbed my garage for a urinal but it's too much work! Easier to just piss in the forest! Keeps the bears, mountain lions and coyotes away! I'm markin' my spot!

I dunno what the "law" states, but a urinal in a garage sounds like a sweet set up.

I currently live in a sub-division.  Store the bike in a small shed.  I have to shut the shed dorr and piss in a Tim Hortons' (I'm Canadian) coffee cup, then dump it out in the grass, so no one see's my pecker.

So ya ... a urinal sounds like a sweet deal.

The really funny thing is:

Two days ago, I am showing my lovely bride the plans to my new garage. She says, "What's that?"
"It is the floor length urinal honey, also doubles as the floor drain when I spray out the garage."
She rolled her eyes and sighed....

She and I just read thru the whole thread together and laffed our a$$es off. At least now she knows that I am not the only one

A picture's worth a 1,000 words and a few drops on your pants. Please note the vent pipe, a very important part of the installation:

I used 3/4" pvc (should've used 1").  At the top where you pee in, I went from 3/4" to 3".  Run it through the wall outside, dug a hole, added 3/4" crushed rock, run the pvc down, buried it and peed.  I keep a couple gallon jugs of water to flush and every once-in-a-while when it starts to smell, I dump some bleach (a couple cups) down it.  Works great!
