My buddy just dropped off a urinal they demoed at work and I am going to plumb it in the garage so I don't have to walk all the way into the house.  Any laws against a small gravel sump outside?
Tim "The Toolman" Allen would be proud! Arg, arg, arg...

Gosh I've been wanting a urinal myself .

All this talk  gots me to thinkin.

Hell I don't need a urinal , I had a 16' floor drain put in the garage  when I had this place built .

There's no wait at my garage , you can stand toe to toe if you want .

Question is though how much bleach do you think I'll need ?

Well if your missus doesn't mind the urinal for when all the beer drinking buddies come around, think she might accept a couple of beer fridges then a bit later on you could add a little stage and a stripper pole. After all one needs a bit of relaxation after a hard afternoon of polishing chrome.

I live in a rural area so I just step around the corner of the shop if I gotta go. Not a bad idea if you can't go outside. i would run it to the sewer/septic tank though

We just finished building our 'retirement' home in Arizona.  It has a 1250 sqft Garage that is heated and air conditioned.  I designed a 1/2 bath with a urinal, but the plumber talked me out of it,  put in a toilet and small shower instead.  Air, water, and electric  on pull-downs from the ceiling, floor drains, TV and Stereo built in.  I can play out there day and night,  tinkering till my butt falls off.  This old age thing ain't bad!

it was just a joke.  i live rural too but not really.  more like resort.  anyway, the urinal is done and works great.  neighbor rides a chair and he is already got a storage of catheters up on the shelf by the pisser.  glad it is more convenient for him. rolling home (downhill and back) is probably a bitch when you're buzzed.  he's a good guy.  got shot in the spine.  but, truthfully, i put the urinal in so all my buds don't piss all over the place around the garage, me too!
