Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what I can use to clean the cooling fins on the engine.
The fatty is an 05 and I just cant seem to get them clean when I wash the bike. The black wrinkle paint is fine, but dull fin tips just don't look good.

Cheers!

Gray scotchbrite pad and blow it off with compressed air afterwards.

Have you tried 000 extra fine steel wool pads? It might do the trick

I would use the scotchbrite pad.  Think the sandpaper might leave metal particles, however small, flying around.  The scotchbrite should just take off the oxidation.

Ride Safe.
