It sucks on long trips, looking to change or modify.

Only 400 miles on my 08 so far, but it's given me no discomfort yet

funny i have an 08 vrscaw and the salesman said you will need a seat for that so i trusted him and bought the sundowner the same day . I drove the bike a week ,about 300 miles befor the seat came in. It was not that bad for me iam 5"7 160 . The new set is good but to me not a very big differance in comfort just a littel deeper bucket

I like my stock seat on my 08, but the wife hates it. As she almost sliped off it 3 times so far. She is pushing me to get a sissy bar/backrest. But I am waiting for now. I keep telling her the girlfriend doesn't like the sissy bar, but she doesn't think that's all that funny I guess.  I will buy the sundowner soon and put a backrest on it for her. But the stock is fine for most.

I am 5' 11" @ 155 lb.

I hated the stock one for sure, after abotu 2 hours I could barley stand up after riding due to it just punishing the hell out of my tail bone.

I am now using the sun downer, it feels much much better, but it does move you forword about an inch or two.

It does not look bad at all on the 07+ bikes, the wide ass rear end helps balance it out.
