Well i'm baffled. I just removed the original clutch pack from my 45k mile heritage and the wear is no different than when i checked it at 21k. In fact, it's so close to what the new pack is i'm wondering if these things ever wear out.
Curious; anyone out there got some wear vs. mileage experiences?
Only thing i can think is that my religious changing of oil paid off.
If i had to guess i've got 15k of the 45k miles with two up AND a trailer.
This can happen to the Evo clutches. May have been SYN3 related, but I ain't no friction material Engineer.
Can't testify to the first 32K, but it bit the dust after another 18K or so. Ditched the Spring pack and used extra plate kit. (NOV/DEC 07). Have only added 5K since Jan 08. Holding up well so far.
