I have a 1990 flhtc. runs great now that i got the carb float adjusted properly. what i'm wondering is this... is it cheaper to buy a sprocket for my primary to have lower rpm's at 75 mph and get better mileage, convert to a belt drive with larger front or rear pulleys or get an ultima 6 speed builders kit. I want to have higher end lower rpm performance, I dont care about low end off the line speed, but i want to cruise all day and not have to maintain a lot. I'm thinkin a belt primary conversion might be cheaper and easier than 6 speed kit, just not sure, lookin for good advice. maybe with guidance on pulley sizes and such, i'll get a shop to do the work cause i don't have hydraulic press etc. anyone got a good idea?

Go with the Ultima six speed we've sold and installed a number of them with no regrets!!! Easy install no grinding. Some have a problem with the neutral switch working "backwards", if you have that problem Pm us and we will send you the instructions to fix it.
