Here's pics of the first solo made for a Rocker from Corbin after their prototype.  It looks great in person and owner says its way more comfortable than the stock seat.  Also sits about an inch lower.

Today he took it back to them to have them add/change a few things (design-wise) so the final version will change a little.  I'll post updates when he gets it back.

He used .50 cal rounds to fill the fender holes.

He's having more work done on the seat.  Apparently they didn't fully describe all the things they could do.  Version 2.0 is promised to be a lot better.

To mount his side mount plate he used a shift linkage from a Deluxe and mounted to the left side passenger peg hole in the boomerang.

And the Big Radius will be on it by the end of the week.

Maxi-wings is funny.  I was thinking Basset ears.

I think that's one of the mods planned.  The wings hide the mounting bolts (with a Corbin seat you lose the hinge).  But all initial reviews from friends said the same thing you did - the wings aren't too attractive.  Last I spoke to him he was planning to get the blue piping extended along the wings and/or add some braiding or something to the wings to dress them up.

We'll see.

I should have mine done in 2 or 3 weeks. Waiting for a side mount plate, already discussed what I want with the finisher. I will post pics as soon as done.

That seat does not do it for me.  I still like Heartland USA's or RSD's seats better.  The 50 cal casing in the fender holes is pretty cool!

Edit: Check www.rolandsands.com look in their online catalog for American V-twins, page 20.

I agree.
The seat looks like a cheap poorly fit seat cover.
Why not just make a seat.
Also would this design allow you to use the riders essentils kit rear seat?
Where did he get the chome pieces attached to the rear frame vertical supports?

I'll get pictures of the side mount license plate and the fender tomorrow.  He had the seat at Corbin today getting it tweaked a little.  Not sure how it turned out yet.  The Big Radius will be on it tomorrow as well.

Part # for Rocker chrome boomerang inserts is 48212-08  $47.95

As promised - the updated pics of the seat and the side mount plate.  I know it's not for everyone.  Even I am personally opposed to Corbin seats.  But this is at least no worse than the stock seat.

In person this seat really does look pretty good.  Adding the buttons and conchos really pulled it together.
