Is anyone running them on an older softail? How vast was the improvement? I've got my bike tore down redoing paint and modifying some things. These are on my list of possible purchases.

An alternative are Fournales air shocks. Get them from Harley Customs:

(hope that link works!). I fitted their custom chrome ones to my Glide and they ride great!

I haven't tried them, but as this is one of the things I want to replace in my bike, I've read a lot of comments about them.

If you don't want to spend the money that costs an air system, they are the best option and a recommended update to do. I will do it as soon as I can.

Please, post any photo when you get them and if you can, tell me how they go.

Good luck
