When my 2008 Ultra sits for more than a day or two the battery runs down to the point where the bike won't start. The voltmeter only shows about 8 volts. Is anyone else having dead battery problems? What should the normal voltmeter reading be when I first turn on the ignition switch? I guess the easiest solution to this problem would be to ride the bike each and every day, but some of us still have to work for a living. Can anyone offer any help? I can't bring my Battery Tender everyplace I go!

Could be a beat battery, take it back to the dealer and complain, also I always put a piece of plywood under the kickstand to keep it off the cement floor of the garage...
