Nomination Rules
For your vote/nomination to count you must be an active member or your nomination will be voided, it will not count. This means you need either 5 posts in the previous month, or 5 in the current month (to date) if you are a member that joined in the current month.

Nominated members MUST have a photo gallery at the time of their nomination, otherwise their nomination will be ineligible.

Also, any member that does meet the above criteria is ineligible to accept a BOTM nomination.

All previous month's winners (for the year) are ineligible for re-nomination.

Also, no altered photos will be allowed. That means no retouching of the bike OR the background. Violators will be given 1 chance to change their submitted photo, and after that they will be disqualified.

The way nominations will officially work:
1. Someone nominates Joe's Harley
2. Someone else seconds that nomination for Joe's Harley (at this point, the nomination is official)
3. Joe accepts the nomination, thus locking it in for voting.

If, in the first 24 hours of nominations being open, more than 5 are nominated, 2nded, and accepted, the first 5 of the different model lines (Sporty, VRod, Dyna, Softtail, Bagger) to accept are officially entered in the contest. Otherwise it will be the 1st 5 who accepted.

****BOTM Contestants are not allowed to solicit votes thru posts or threads on the forum. Any threads that are created will result in that thread being removed, any vote gained during that time being removed, and possible disqualification depending on the severity of the offense. Any general members who do the same to support said members, will also be removed and the votes removed as well.****

Voting Rules

The way this will be monitored is, we have controls that allow us to see each vote made, what day/time it's made and who made it. After the contest is over, I will go thru the vote count for each member and check the voter's profile. If a vote was made by a non active member, the vote will be taken off the final Poll vote tally after the contest is over. Example Bike #1 received 125 votes on the Poll and had 10 non active member votes, the final tally would be 115 votes, so an apparent win in the poll, might not be the actual winner. I think this is fair and we have nothing to hide here, feel free to PM me if you have any questions on this.
