I bought my C&C without the gel. A friend bought one with the gel. If I had to do it all over again I "would" get the gel, makes the seat more comfy fur sure.

I used www.realdealcustoms.com (http://www.realdealcustoms.com) [X(]I thought about it but I went about 50 miles to a shop real deal customs and he installed this incredible gel into my existing seat. He showed me the gel that was taken out of a premade gel seat and there hardley was any. I found him on the internet and he did a bang up job. he also shaved down my seat for free as I am only 5 feet tall. He changed my position and put the gel down at the pan, not under the upholstery, it was only $125 and its the most comfortable ride I have ever had. I LOVE IT!

I've got the sport tour seat, leather, with the gel inlayed into the foam on my wideglide. Love it. Big improvement. No "gelling" around like with some on turns and such. I like the shape of the seat and the gel does a good job of absorbing sharp bumps, vibrations, etc. Was having tail bone pain with my old shaved seat, now I can ride all day.

Hello all!

Looking for all the info I can get my hands on. Wanting a new seat, as the POS Harley seat is a back and butt breaker. Strongly considering the CC Gel seat, but has anyone here have experience with the Mustang Tripper Solo??

http://westendmotorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=11406

Also, trying to decide which CC gel seat might be a better ride, the Lo Pro Solo or Solo.

Thanks for any and all input.

I bought the Solo with backrest and Gel. It came today and I'm very impressed with the seat. I had a HD backrest for my stock seat but it just didn't feel right. It pushed me to far forward so I sold it. This seat puts pressure on your back but doesn't push you forward. I just rode a few miles but I can already tell it's a better fit for me. The only complaint is the seat was wrapped in bubble wrap and the bracket and 2 nuts were just thrown in the box. Lucky there were no holes in the box cause the nuts were loose in the box. Thought that was odd. Anyway from what I've seen so far it was a good choice.

Ask about a discount. I didn't but someone said they do. With the flames and gel insert it was right at $600. I posted a picture here's a link http://www.hdforums.com/m_3441507/tm.htm
