Newbie here.  Just bought my first harley,  a 05 Dyna Lowrider.  I was wondering if anyone knows of a good wide tire kit for a 05 dyna.  I have seen the kits for 06 up.  Is there any difference?  I am looking to put a 180 on it.  Thanks

welcome to the world of dyna customising :)
The first question is how far in to this do you want to go ?
There are 3 things that restrict tyre size on a dyna.
First is belt clearance, which is a lot easier to get around now we have the new 3/4" belt and rear pulleys from harley, or you go with a primary offset kit.
Second is the width between you fender struts, you either use that as a limit or chop them off and use a strutless fender.
Third is the rear swing arm.

Now if your only going 180 you will probably get away with fitting a belt of a fat bob and a rear pulley to match and tweaking the inside of the fender to make sure the edges clear and bolt heads clear and your wires are out of the way.

According to custom chrome you can fit a 200 without using anything else but a struless fender but I imagine you end up with an offset rear wheel.

I am currently doing My own wide trye set up for a `96 dyna, using a cut up softail standard bobtailed fender as a base and a kawasaki zx9r 5.5" wide rear wheel though this might change to a zx7r as the 7s had a 6" rim 3/4" belt and a pulley off a softail. I will post pics once I have everything together and the fab starts.  I already have a JMC swingarm installed.
