Is a oil temp gage worth the money? Thinking about the one with the digital read out that replaces the dip stick.

Save your money. Those digital dipsticks have a high rate of failure.

I got an analog one. Yeah, I cant read it while riding, but it is nice to know how hot she is when I stop etc. Mostly, I liked the look of it

The digital temp gauges are a waste of money in MHO. They seem to fail at a high rate, they are expensive, and you have to push a button to see the readout. I found pushing the button a pain, most of all with winter gloves on. So, needless to say, within a few hours of buying it, I returned it, and got the analog readout one. Even riding, at a stop, I can glance down and get an idea of where my oil temp is. Just my 2 cents RIde safe, and often
