My neibor recently got a 77 sportster in a trade. He loves it but the problem is it has mid controls on it and he is pretty tall and feels cramped. They are a bugger to get them set up right but once you do they work pretty good. Make sure if you do end up with a set to be sure and use red Loc-Tite on all the bolts. Some of the earlier sets had weld problems and would break.
