Hello everyone I am posting with the hopes some one can give me some insight. My neibor recently got a 77 sportster in a trade. He loves it but the problem is it has mid controls on it and he is pretty tall and feels cramped. He is working on a budget to get forward and found these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/77-78-SPORTSTER-FORWARD-CONTROLS-4-HARLEY-NEW-BOLTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ10064QQihZ007QQitemZ170214885667QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
If any one has any info or opinons on them we would appreciate the advice.
Thank you in advance
Brian

Those look like Daniel Boone controls. They are a bugger to get them set up right but once you do they work pretty good. Make sure if you do end up with a set to be sure and use red Loc-Tite on all the bolts. Some of the earlier sets had weld problems and would break. J&P quit selling them for that reason.

I have a set like those i got mine from custom chrome but are the same, yes they are a bugger to set up correctly.I had to move the foot rest and move it back because i found that the shifter didnt work very well . I can send pics if needed.
