My SE doesn't have them, but my buddy has them on his and he loves them! Here's a shot.

I've ridden mine a couple hundred miles at a time on a slammed Barebones Le Pera seat and have only wished for rounder foot pegs so I could stretch out without the pegs hurting my ankles. Too squared off on the top. I've thought about putting on the heel rests but am satisfied for now.

Have them on my Lowrider with mid-controls & really like them. Helps to keep my boot off the pipe.

Extended forward controls with heel rests on 98 wide glide.  ridden 25,000 miles with them.  Many options of foot positioning.

I have a 2007 FXDSE and I really struggled with my feet sliding off one side or the other (depending upon wind direction) the factory footpegs at highway speeds. I then installed the heel rests and eliminated 99% of that problem, plus they look great as they are a perfect match for the factory pegs (used the same shift peg as the heel rest peg). Here is the part #'s

I was very uncomfortable on long rides till I added my heal rests. They work great!

I had Kuryakyn Switchblade pegs on my Vrod and they made a huge difference on long rides. Your can kick out the heel or put them back into the peg while riding.
