Default Belleville Boots?

Well, my old jump boots are finally starting to wear out, so I'm looking to replace them with a good American made military spec boot.

Do any of you ride with Belleville combat boots? How do you like them? How are the Vibram soles on the pavement - slick or grippy?

They are a very comfortable boot. If you're looking for the newer ones (desert sand) you have to try them on because they run big. I would bet that whatever your current black boot size is, it won't be the same in Belleville's. I have worn 9.5W in almost every brand of black boot. I wear between an 8W and 10W depending on if it's a summer or Winter boot, steel toed or not steel toed. No issues with their soles. The newer models have the "valves", like you see on jungles. They really needed to add that because your feet will sweat pretty bad in them.

Edit: If you're looking for black boots let me know what size. I have a pair of black ones (don't remember the brand), never worn and we're not authorized to wear black boots anymore. We can work out a fair price.

Belleville is good sh!t. My shift peg cuts the boot lace after a while so I gotta leave the bottom eye unlaced.

Ihave riden with the cold weather desert model and the are comfortable. The grip on these boots are grippy on wet/slick surfaces. I recommend.

Ileft with 3 new pair dessert brown thanks to my last supply Sgt Thegood gortex ones they are great for riding in normal or wet weather when it gets down to the 30's they can be a bit cool.
the first ones they made for the dessert had that gummy sole they were not worth a s--- but the new ones are great.

They are a nice boot but I ride wearing the Oakley assault boots. They are just like wearing a high top running shoe. Plus they are free.

I'll shine my boots, but you'd better shave off that scraggily-ass beard!
