Bought a new 05 FXD in Febraury and now that the weather is finally clearing up I just had the chance to ride it for the first time last night ,wow what a diffence from the 04 Sportster I traded in . Been busy with work ,and adding new accesories like Vance & Hines exhaust,carb kit ,new air breather,auxilary lights ,forward controls ,etc..

I've had mine out a few times now and I feel soooooooo much better. Withdrawl symptoms are beginning to subside. I've got mine in a bike show this weekend so other than the ride there and back I won't get many miles in.

enjoy the new ride! i went form a sporty to a glide. love the glide but didnt have the heart to get rid of the sporty, rode it to work today, still love it. guess ill have to alternate days!!
Congrats!! Sounds like you really enjoy the new bike. I've only had my sportster for a month now (86') and I cant get enoug of it. Its my first Harley. I really want a Fat Boy. Another couple of years and I plan to buy a spankin new one! Hope you get to ride more! Spring has arrived!!!
