Primary Chain Length and Shortening - 5/9/2008 1:00:01 PM    Hog Yild Posts: 188 Joined: 7/13/2006 Status: offline I'm looking at chaining the front sprocket in my primary from a 34T to a 30T, which I think requires a primary chain length change by 2 links shorter. Con you cut down the primary chain and use connecting links?  Or is the load high on these chains? Can you share some feedback on the change? I do have the same questions on primary chains, can you shorten a primary and use connecting links?
