Who uses Pig Spit to clean there bike? I was told you dont need water. My friend used it on my bike before made it look great especcially on the wrinkle black of the train. The fact you dont need water is really convient. What is the consensus it even says you can use it on paint and chrome.

I prefer what used to be called Honda spray cleaner, now it's just called Spray Cleaner and Polish. Pig Spit is harder to get off ,IMHO.

Use it wherever you like. I wash my bike, then hit the black of the engine with pig spit. It says on the can safe for all surfaces. It really makes wrinkle balck finish look great.

I use it but not on my chrome. Just to brighten the krinkle paint. Suppose to keep it off any rubber so mask. Is a good product and the result lasts so you don't have to reapply every time you wash. Worth the $9.95.

Iwash my bike and dry it then apply Pig Spit to the black engine parts, theconsole on the tank, the side covers, basically anything black. Inbetween washings I use it the same way.

Since no one seems to have brought it up......

Are you talking "Pig Snot".
Is Pig Spit something different?

I agree this stuff is good. You just have to go into a Honda dealership to get it. No onetalks to you anyway. I rode up on my bike and drowned out all the Honda noise.

Got a can and a half left in the garage. I think it is overpriced and not that good. I am more impressed with pro shine. S100 makes better products in my opinion. Just my opinion. I couldn't help myself --read the post in front of mine. Lol he's right --can't hear a honda over my exhaust but I noticed all them new HD's sound like honda's now. Guess that's so they don't upset the citizens and on a new HD you can listen to your tunes while you make friends. Honda's old commercial was you meet the nicest people on a honda. HD's new commercial could be you meet the nicest people on a HD and you can talk to them and listen to your tunes riding down the sunny highway. Couldn't help myself lol.

I don't use it on the paint too much, no reason, but I don't.
It works great on the engine and frame as you know,.
I use it more on my pickup than anywhere, it makes the dash and leather seats look like new. Floormats too.

Is that the stuff that turns all of your metal parts into plastic?

I use Meguiar's line of products...works perfectly. I've found that most of the "bike products" are overpriced and don't work any better than a good car polish. I do use Mother's Billet Chrome polish though..outstanding product.

When I was my bike, I use the Mr. Clean Auto Dry system, I follow the directions, except I put some of the soap in a bucket with some hot water and give it a good hand scrubing, then I spray it off and use the spot free rinse setting, spray it down completly put everything away, grab a cold one, sit down and watch it dry to a spot free shine, in between washings I use a product called Bug Slide so far it works good and can be used on all parts. But everybody has their own way of doing things, so you just need to find what works for you and just enjoy cleaning your ride.
