Hello everyone,

Have been without a motorcycle for 3-4 years. Last one was a Goldwing, but I decided to move up to a Harley Davidson this time. I picked up a new 2008 Road King Classic yesterday and I can tell you I am totally amazed by the ride, handling, feel, power, and sound of this bike. It's a perfect combination of everything I was looking for. What a great experience!

I've been lurking here for a while and picking up all sort of tips... thanks, it helped me make a lot of decisions on this bike and will be a valuable resource for stuff I'll do in the future. A few pictures of the new baby.

Welcome from West Palm Beach, Florida

Congrats on the bike, she's a classic beauty...........

I recently traded up from my metric cruiser to a Hertiage Softail and your observations are dead on.....
What a rush it is to crack the throttle on a Harley. You've just got to respect the v-twin.

Ride safe Moon
