On the removal of the oil filter (front of bike) is there any precautions when taking the filter off? I read somewhere on this forum there is a crankcase sensor that is close by and could possibly be damaged if not careful? Is that true and where is it?? Peppi thanks for the attachment that helps alot:-) I have gotten my oil and filter now just need to make sure before I start this. I am still waiting for the repair/maint manual but have a ride this weekend and don't want to wait. Thanks for all the help to those of you that replied it does help alot....... Get me the answer to this somebody....I know someone knows this, I sure don't thats why I am asking:-)

Have a great day ppl........

You'll see the crank sensor right next to the oil filter end on the front of the engine case. Just be carefull not to crank down on it when you use the wrench to remove the filter.
