Hello to all. I recently purchased my first Harley, a 2005 Road King and I am looking to find out how to remove the cover plate that covers the handle bars....Can anyone help me out with this ?

You have to take the head light out.  There is a bold underneath the light housing near the top.  That will loosen the strip on top of the housing.  Take off the ring where the steering column lock is located.  there are three screws to take off.  If I remember correctly, that will take it off.
