However on my '77, I have forsaken the starter realy and all the grief associated with it when I moved my ignition switch and starter button. I kept either cracking the relay mount or burning out the realy itself. So, I wired directly from the battery (through a circuit breaker of course) into a high amp momentary button - NAPA number SW10 and have been trouble free for the last five or so years. If you want to replace the relay with another one, take yer old one to any car parts store and pick up a relay for any early model Ford truck relay.
