who uses XIED, do u recommend it??
 

Was looking into getting one for my stock 07 SB, I will eventually get an exhaust and intake, I am putting SE2 slipons on next week

I have the regular IEDs on my basically stock NT, and they work great. There are lots of people running similar mods to what you you have in mind, so I'm sure the XiED would work fine. Do they have the issue with Dynas worked out yet?

Have them on my 07 street bob and they work great. Greatly reduced engine heat and the throttle response is much better.

what's the difference between the xied and the ied? Anyone know of any cons to using them such as carbon buildup.

O2 ied lowers AFR down to 14.2-1, while the xied lowers it down to 13.8-1. Not sure about the technical stuff LOL

Currently running IED's on my '08 RG with V&H Ovals, SE a/c and Stage 1 download. Bike runs very well except for a little decel popping on occasion. I'm debating going to the XIED's but not sure if it'd be worth it. We'll see how it runs in the summer heat (if we ever get any!).

picked up my 07 RKC and just had 5k service done and the XIEDS came in the day I picked up bike from being serviced. They make a big difference with syn oil, cooler bike and i'm in FL. and smoother idle and throttle. Have V&H duals and big sucker great upgrade for $111. A++
