Default Newbie in need of Exhaust Advice

Hello all, I'm new to riding, owning a Harley, and this forum, which seems to be the best one of all the forums I've lurked in. The folks on this forum seem to truly help each other and respond to discussions in a mature manner, which is uncommon in many forums.

I'm already getting accessory fever as I bought a 2008 Sportster XL 883L. I'm considering changing the exhaust already (this is also pre-emptive as I need to get bags) and I'm thinking of getting the Vance and Hines Black Staggered Shortshots. Does anyone have any experience with black exhaust pipes on the 883 Low?

I'm so excited about all the rides I'm about to take (can't ride my bike yet- picking it up next week) and I can't wait to trade information with you all!

The black V&H would look v nice on your bike... Just be aware that they are VERY loud... Which I don't mind... But some people do.

Hmmm I was just thinking the same thing. I never got no 12 step program in the mail, and now, sadly its FAR too late...Hehehe

Welcome from Western Washington. Congrats on the new bike.
