The major difference is the engine and rear shocks. Both are 96 ci. Dynas have a rubber mounted Twin Cam. Softails have a rigid mounted counterbalanced engine. Dynas rear shocks are exposed whereas the Softail are hidden giving the look of a rigid motorcycle. The ride is a little different. My dyna will shake at an idle at a stop but smooth out once it gains speed. The counterbalanced engine will run smooth at idle and vibrate a little at speed. Dynas are way better (because I got one). Sportsters ruled when I had one.

any technical infe such as frame dimensions which is talleer, longer etc?
I don't know the specs, go to the Harley-Davidson website and you can compare specs side by side. Generally speaking, the Dynais the lightest bike fitted with the "Big V-Twin" engine which a lot of Dyna riders will tell you affords them better handling and a more nimble ride.
