..........I pulled the baffles out of a set of rush's with 1 3/4 baffles......

.....the on on the RT I have already removed the cheap tape they used, which was almost disinigrated, and used safety wire [.032]to resecured the fiberglass to the baffle....in the same spot it was removed from...

.....the one on theLEFT doesn't look real good......looks like they slapped on some remnants/scraps/leftovers, slapped on some CA tape....and figure most folks won't remove the baffle...

..........you can see where they didn't even cover the perferated area on the baffle.....

.....I'm a bit disappointed .........and it's not a big deal....but, where's that QC.....and where is the matching set ,which should be the case....I guess I just maybe might expect too much.....but it's kinda 'shoddy' workmanship IMO.....for a $230-240 dollar item....and factor in new X-over gaskets [$7]

......Iwill contact Rush i.e. this...just to see what they say.............later....B.

Yea, that is pretty shoddy.

You do get points for composition though,,,,,,,,,,,,, for squeezing in a plug for Amsoil . :D:D

Yeah, I pulled the baffles out of my 2 inchers just to see what it would sound like and that's pretty much what they looked like.

Wow... Nasty

The baffles and torque cones for my Pipe Dreamz were packaged separately... And they were brand new... I am very surprised that Rush would put out something like that... I hope they stand behind their product and make it right.

.I emailed Rush this morn w/ somw pics..................
.............I am really curi-ass how they will handle this, since they claim 'perfection' on their web site....
they are still totally usable as is..........but I still think it is 'shoddy'

I also dont like how 'my' heatshields overlap the muffler w/o a nice fit...........B.

You can buy muffler packing at any M/C shop that sells dirt bikes. That stuff will burn off over time anyway.

And this is the kind of CRAP the stealers are pushing as a "good" product? I'd hate to see what they think a "bad" product is... [8D]
