12V solid state regulator. Three wires coming out of it. Center wire is for the power....the other two wires, one is copper the other is silver. Where does the copper wire go and where does the silver wire go? The bike is a '64 pan FLH that is 12V. The previous solid state regulator was an Accel aftermarket that worked for 20yrs. Now this new reg. (from HD) the wires are all the same color- black. Any definite answers?
