The easiest way to avoid being banned is to follow the rules. And they're not that tough. I've seen them strectched pretty far, and the dude was still around the next day. From the "bannings" I HAVE seen, the pattern seems to be getting out of line, getting warned by a mod, and then pretty much telling the mod to go f##k themselves and daring them to ban you. Which they generally do.

Follow the rules, have fun, use common sense when you post, and treat others like you want to be treated. And you will not have to worry about being banned

If you read those "rules" in place here, and if they are strictly enforced.... the way I read em any mod that has a hair accross his ass for you can ban you for any reason he sees fit!

No, I don't know why everyone gets banned. That's why I said "From the bannings I HAVE seen...." And for the record, YOU seem to be the only one here with a hair accross his ass.

I guess you are right...I think I do. I often enjoy this site, have been coming in here for quite a while. I will admit I have pushed the rules myself and have been warned once or twice and in order to not get banned I do my best to "follow the rules". I find myself spending less and lesstime in here. This place has changed a lot over the past several months. It seems that mods are very quick to make a thread disapear, or lock them up if things are being said they do not agree with. The tolerance level of "pushing the rules" has decreased. And often these threads are the most interesting! I understand its largely about $$. Perhaps fear of loosing sponsers? We need to be PC, don't piss anybody off, might loose a sponser. This is why people get banned IMO.

We need to be PC, don't piss anybody off, might loose a sponser. This is why people get banned IMO. They don't ban anyone here without a very good reason. I'm still here, lmao. Let's all please remember that is is a privately owned, for-profit site just like your local TV station. The sponsors/advertisers pay the cost of running it and we get to use it for free - a great deal and the American way. Just like with our local TV stations, we don't get to come on here and spout off unless it's OK with them. They have every right to control the content in any way they please. With that said, I think that the rules here are very loose and more than fair and I know that Terry is way more than fair. I love this site but I'd hate to have to run it with all of the crap that can go on. I think that Terry and the mods do a great job. Now, off to other threads to see what sh1t I can stir up, lmao. Just my $.02

Ron you readily admit to getting warnings for pushing the rules which proves that Terry1955 and the admin staff here at HDF is more than lenient or fair around here before banning someone,, you forgot to add you had been given a final warning quite some time ago and yet you're still here pushing or breaking the rules and you wonder why the tolerance level for such stuff has decreased. You say you come here often, but then you also say you spend less time here, we see you here quite often and quite often involved in or starting trolling/pot stirring type of threads which is why you have been given warnings in the past this you admit to. Ron since you brought this stuff out in the open forum I must ask,, do you consider yourself a member mostly here to push/break the rules,,, you know,, to try to mess with the staff and certain members kind of stuff here,, or would you consider yourself a contributing member,,, one who mostly comes here for friendship and the great info available who doesn't come here to get his jollies by pushing the rules to the limits to see when we will finally ban you?

I know I have pissed off mikeeeeeeee to no ends, at least twice. I am sure he prayed for me. I would thin you have to break the rules dozens of time to get banded. Having said this statement, John I still think little white crosses are trash on the side of my road and should be illegal. But then I dont want to cut my own head off do I?
