Default June 2008 BOTM Voting is CLOSED!!!!!!

****BOTM Contestants are not allowed to solicit votes thru posts or threads on the forum. Any threads that are created will result in that thread being removed, any vote gained during that time being removed, and possible disqualification depending on the severity of the offense. Any general members who do the same to support said members, will also be removed and the votes removed as well.****

The voting booth is open. Good luck everyone, may the best bike win.

Voting Rules

For your vote to count you must be an active member or your vote will be voided, it will not count. This means you need either 5 posts in last month (April 2008), or 5 inthe currentmonth(to date)if you are a member that joinedbetween05/01/08 and 05/31/08.

The way this will be monitored is, we have controls that allow us to see each vote made, what day/time it's made and who made it. After the contest is over, I will go thru the vote count for each member and check the voter's profile. If a vote was made by a non active member, the vote will be taken off the final Poll vote tally after the contest is over. Example Bike #1 received 125 votes on the Poll and had 10 non active member votes, the final tally would be 115 votes, so an apparent win in the poll, might not be the actual winner. I think this is fair and we have nothing to hide here, feel free to PM me if you have any questions on this.

6o66er's 1998 XL1200 Custom "Hellcat"

LOOKS:
39mm wideglide conversion
Twisted 40-spoke rims, 16" rear and 21" front
Maxxis Classic rear and Avon Venom front tires
Headlight out the scratch n' dent bin from J&P
'07 Dyna Streetbob bars and risers I got for free from a buddy
Custom shaved tank I found at a swap meet
One off hand-tooled leather solo seat with 2" torsion springs
6" trailer fender, chopped and clearanced, mounted using a rigid brace and angle iron to the swingarm
Sparto LED tail light
2" (unknown brand) Drag pipes, wrapped with 2" ThermoTec wrap and coated black
Factory HD grip (clutch side) that I found in a parking lot
Kuryakyn ISO throttle grip w/throttle boss
Factory HD mid controls (swapped from Hardbody forwards)
HD factory black rubber pegs/shifter peg
Left side mirror I found in a trash pile in my buddys garage
Shaved swingarm (no welds)
Shaved lowers
Battle scars and dirt GALORE!

All paint is rattle canned, because I ride it every day and don't need/want flashy paint,
The cat's heads were done by my girlfriend in acrylics and are hand-painted
Battery, horn, and fuse block covers as well as the rear fender were finished with Rubberized Undercoating

Almost all chrome has been scotch-brited by hand and re-finished with 800 grit and rubbing compound

MECHANICAL:
Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner
Big City Thunder baffles
Barnette extra plate clutch kit
Barnette black braided throttle and idle cables
Russel brake line
Modified CV slide

I've also re-wired the entire bike from the ground up to use circuit breakers and a turnkey ignition. Anything that wasn't legally
or absolutely necessary was removed, stomped on, and burned until it was NO MORE, or used to make new parts.

MUCH more to come, this year I'm going full stage 3 from the cases up and re-building the entire bike from the ground up.&

I like the new rule...
Just vote for the bike you feel is the best regardless of "family"

Those two bobber type old school look bikes are slick...Tough choice
