Any ideas for new bars for my Fat Bob? Idealy if I was able to bring back the OEM bars 1-2 inches it would be fine. Since I don't know of any new risers that could do this I may have to replace the risers and bars...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Most people that replace their bars either go with drag bars (like mine) or apes. All depends what YOU like...

I could go with either, I guess I am looking for som pics and or suggestions. How hard is it to swap risers on the FAT BOB for someone mechanically inclined?

Anyone done it yet?

Check out this link -Click Here (http://www.hdforums.com.au/Default.aspx?tabid=71&view=topic&postid=3896&forumid=4&tpage=2)- it has what I consider one of the best looking FB/ape hanger installs that I've thus far. I am getting some of the harley thick mini-apes put on mine. I'll have pics in a couple of weeks.

Here's a pic of my fb with '08 wide glide mini's/wide glide risers. I like them, not as high as many like, but perfect for me. I had them coated black.

riser swap out very easy; nice time to put in the polyurethane ones to help dampen vibration a bit. Routing the wires into the new bars also not that difficult.
