I just bought SuperTrapp SE slipons with FishTail end caps for my 2007 Ultra Classic. I plan on ordering a Kuryakyn Trailer Hitch and a Bushtec Turbo+2 this week. Does anyone know if the FishTails will be in the way ?

can't help you on the fishtails, but have read some negative comments about the Kury hitch. You'd be better to go with some thing else, McHitch or others. If you have the swivel hitch on the Turbo II, I'd recommend you go with the Bushtec hitch that is designed for it. It is a hidden hitch that mounts to the frame of the bike. high quality, and especially with what you have invested, don't risk using a potential inferior or cheaper hitch. The Bushtec works like a dream.

I thought it was made of black metal that attached on the outside of the fender... is that not how it is ? I will look into it more. What mudflap do you have ?

I have also been looking at the American Legends and used Bushtecs. The used Bushtecs are not cheap.... A new one is more $ but has the warranty.

it mounts along the fender to the frame.

the mud flap is from Bushtec.

Thanks for the advice on the hitch...

I ordered a new Bushtec Turbo+2 painted FireRedPearl and BlackPearl to match my 2007 Ultra Classic. I am getting the Bushtec Hitch. They will install it and do the wiring when I go pick get the trailer. It should be ready the middle of July..... Can't wait for my annual ride to West Texas.....
