Hey everyone,
Does anybody have an idea what a guy could sell his stock exhaust system with SE slip-ons(baloney cut) from my 07 night train for?? They are in excellent condition, I only used them for a month or so untill I got sick of the lame sound, and went to some V&H Big Shots.
From what I see on the HD website, retail for the SE Slip-ons is around $350CDN, so would $400 for everything be too much to ask??
Having a garage sale soon and would like to get rid of them then.

Thanks for any feedback or thoughts.

despite the fact that I'm happy with what I have...I don't think you could give them away...

Well it's a garage sale so ask for what you think, i'm sure someone may want them and they will counter offer for what they are willing to pay....

Yes, $400 is too much to ask.  The mufflers are the only thing anyone is going to want (most likely) so figure a pair of used mufflers is probably worth $100 to $150 at best.

As a note, I just sold a pair of Rush mufflers yesterday, with the 2" baffles, that I paid $250 2 months ago, for $122 on ebay.

As far as the rest of the exhaust, shove it in a box, store it in the attic of your garage and hang onto them in the event you sell your bike.  Otherwise, chuck it.

hey - you asked. don't shoot the messenger. IMO - your exhaust is worth only what the scrap dealer is paying for pig iron.

BYW: welcome to our happy little family..........
