Are any of the OEM rear hubs chrome plated on laced whe... - 5/11/2008 10:38:42 PM    mrthinkshesfunny   Posts: 34 Joined: 12/14/2007 Status: offline  Hello,I have an 05 FXD that has a wide glide front.Both the front and rear rims have been replaced with laced wheels.I had the front relaced with polished stainless steel spokes and had a chrome plated hub put on it at the same time.Just reading on the Harley website it seems all the rears are aluminum hubs with chrome plated spokes and chrome plated steel rims.I was wanting a chrome plated hub on the rear to match up with the front.Do I have to get an aftermarket hub? Or did some bikes come with the chrome plated hub that will work for me? A search of the site didn't help any so I thought I'd ask.Thanks Post #: 1
