Default Oil pressure different after going to synthetic

I justed changed my 97 ultras dino oil to synthetic and now I have a couple of issues I need help with - After changing the oil to(redline) and filter (63731-99A). The pressure reads 25 when cold on startup compared to 40 on the dino oil. The pressure does go down afterits warmed and runs at 25 when riding. My question is could it be the switch or the filter thats causing the problem? Or do I have nothing to worry about. Stock filter is the 63805-80A.
Any help would be appreciated.

My guess would be the filter. However most all synthetics will flow faster when cold than dino oil. If you switched to a5 micron HD filter some EVO owners have reported oil flow restriction with the5 micron filter.

(Corrected to 5 micron)

I also would suspect the filter as being really restrictive, defective , or lacking a bypass valve. That's a serious drop to blame the oil for it.

Thanks Everyone. I'll replace the filter and see what happens.
