Cleaning The Spokes on Laced Wheels - 5/12/2008 5:35:26 AM    Gaffy52 Posts: 608 Joined: 4/27/2008 Status: offline Hi - I am sure that this may well have been covered before, but here goes anyway - although I have fairly small hands with thin fingres its such a bind getting at and cleaning the spokes on laced wheels, especially on the rear wheel.  What do you guys use to get in and around them? _____________________________ '07 Pewter Denim Bobber Stage 1 & Kitech Fueler V&H Big Radius pipes Progressive rear shocks & fork spring Post #: 1

RE: Cleaning The Spokes on Laced Wheels - 5/20/2008 9:35:00 PM    48Roadking Posts: 17 Joined: 7/10/2007 Status: offline Hey for cleaning my wheels,I bought a wheel spoke brush from Harley Davidson.I put the bike on my Craftsman bike lift and get the wheels good and wet,soap up the brush and start sticking it in between the spokes.You can spin the wheel because its on the lift.Then if you have white walls like i do i use Westleys white wall tire cleaner and a brissle brush to clean the wheel, it works great. _____________________________ Wherever you go,There you are!
