Clutch or tranny question
 

So, long story short. On a hard launch from a stop, if the bike hooks up, I'm getting a kind of cluncking noise for a second or so. This seems to only happen when the tire hooks up, typically it just spins. I was wondering if it's the sound of the clutch slipping or what. I've got the heavy spring on the clutch, just looking for some insight. The only time it happens is when the tire hooks up, otherwise, never seem to here anything from it.

First check your belt tension.

If you're running an auto primary chain tensioner, it may be chain slap, (ie; primary chain hitting the inside of the primary case).
