Castrol oils are mostly automotive. Much better oils for the $$ for an air cooled engine.

Castrol has a couple 20W-50 oils for the bikes. Here is AMSOIL's motorcycle study and they were both included.

Pretty clear here that Mobil1vtwin or Amsoil MCV is about the best for the $$ Castrol ranked the worst according to this study. What would bother me here is that the Castrol sheared out of grade very quickly which means you buy a 50w oil and after 1000 miles it is now a 40w add some heat in parade mode and maybe you have a 30w protecting your engine. The TBN numbers were also the lowest which is an indicator that the additive package is very weak when it comes to protecting your engine against fuel dilution and corrosion.
