Can I use S-100 Total Cycle Cleaner on my windshield without damaging it, or should I remove the windshield before applying the cleaner? Thanks in advance.

Neither will kill it but I don't generally concentrate on it - actually try to avoid it if possible. A nice hot water soaked microfiber cloth laid on the windshield will get the bugs and muck off. Then a soapy microfiber cloth will clean it up nice. You only spray the S100 on the bike and leave it for a minute ot two then hose it off anyway so if you already did it - don't worry about it. PLEXUS (http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/about.html) it will even remove minor scratches and yellowing (and the yellow don't come back) My windshield is 6 yrs. old and it is almost invisible. (see below) Oh ya' ... it'll make 100 year old plastic lenses (signals, tail light) look brand new too. nighttraingirl 06-06-2008, 08:57 PM +3 the \\; s100 will not hurt your windshield. not at all. But it will not remove a whole lot, unless you let it soak repeadely. . If you have a bit of time, try soaking a microfiber in warm water and let it sit on the bugs, they will come right off. As r ecommeneded Plexxus will remove minor marring from gas station squegees, etc Take your time, and follow the directions. |
