Well guys and gals,
I have been conversing with Walt. We have come up with an idea for the t-shirt exchange. So here is the plan.
We are having a mini-rally at my house May 30-31, 2008 (Saturday & Sunday). Everyone rides over to my house Saturday morning between 9:00-9:30 am. The ride starts at 10:00 a.m. No breakfast that morning. We ride down Indian River Drive, over to the beach. We will head North along the beach and come back down Old Dixie Hwy to Indian River Drive back to my house. From there we all chip in a few bucks for food and suds. And yes Rebel, it will be steak. I will start picking up the steaks now. As for the brew, we can get a list of what people want to drink, and I will pick it up.
The plan is for everyone to camp out at my house over night. I know some of you will not want to camp out and that is okay. Everyone is more than welcome. I will make room. We get up Sunday morning to some breakfast. I will make homemade biscuits and gravy.
Sound okay? Okay.
[sm=yikesomg.gif]What a great idea!!!!! If everything goes as planned I will ride up Saturday early in the morning and spend the day with you guys, I wont be able to spend the night as I have plans to go to a concert that saturday nite....That is VERY NICE of you Murph!!!!
P.S. Maybe Masterblaster and Rebel want to meet with me and we ride up together???
Thanks for the help Murph[sm=icon_cheers.gif].. I hope we can get a good head count of who will be there so I can make sure I bring all the shirts needed.... After the Mini meet I will set up another one for the guys who couldnt make it. As for the central fla guys I can do a 1 on 1 delivery for that area...
Can't guarantee that I'll be spending the night, but I will certainly be there for the day on Saturday. Sounds like a good plan, thanks to Murph and Walt on this one. Looking forward to it.
Sorry about the dates. It is 5-31-2008 and 6-1-2008. As for hotels, there is an old dump hotel around the corner of my house, but everyone is more than welcome to stay at my house. I will make arrangements. If you insist on a hotel, there is a Best Western down the road from my house. About 5 miles.
Yes, BD everyone is welcome weather you bought a shirt or not.
If you are coming, please send me a PM so I can get a count and send you directions to my house.
good stuff big M! I will be present; IRD has easily become my favorite ride. I hit it every chance passin by north/south or both.
