So how much does an average paint job cost on like a Electraglide Classic minus the trunk? I want one of the Firefighter Editions but the red they use is ugly. I want like a bright red!

i would not think less than 2500-3000  and up you might as well get the inner fairing done the same time

I would charge about 3 grand including the inner faring for a show quality 2 stage job. Red is one of the highest colors.

Not necessarily, it looks like you're going the extra mile and if it comes out to your liking, it can't be anything less than money well spent !

Bad Pigy, painting the frame is a real pain in the back side. I require customer to remove everything first.

Mine is getting a 3 stage paint job base candy clear for $1,500.00 from a company that builds trikes for the local harley dealerships. I have a EG standard and I am getting the innner fairing done also.

Dirt cheap.  $500-700 for material only depending on brand.

Tinky?
Where does the bike look like it's sitting?
In a garage?
A messy one at that?
Mine, perhaps?
The bike was totally disassembled by yours truly!
Reassembly will be done by yours truly, too.
