I want to paint my tank black and take the stripe off should i get a new tank and save the old or say what the hell and paint away

The emblems are the only thing worth money but, for the price of a used tank I'd just keep it.

I have an 03 standard,when I bought it the badges were missing..I just painted the whole thing black.

Mine was. I don't really think of it as a Night Train anymore. Never was too crazy about the anniversary paint. I thought they could have done much better. Just my 2 cents and that's about all they are worth.
