Have 06 rkclassic, periodically the front brake resivor seeps a little b-fluid around front edge of resivor and some times at corners, noticed it only started to happen last summer at highway speeds (65-70mph) so tightened down on screws evenly a little bit, seemed to stop. last few weeks of riding it seems to be getting worse, tried everything to stop it, backed off on screws to make sure gasket wasn't pinched, tightend down to specs and still getting the seeping, the seeping is very slow, after wiping the area down come back a couple of hours and its wet. also pulled brake lever in all the way and looked into the spot were the plunger passes through the seal into the resivor and its not leaking there. What do you guys think? warped top cap?
I would simply suggest repacing the cover (the chrome replacement comes with a new gasket)...
Nake sure you do not have too much fluid in the reservior, and inspect the top of the resevior to make sure there are no issues with that. I would be looking for any imperfections/manufacturing defects in the the small 'lip' that the cover gasket fits into.
