Default What is this bike worth?

I am looking at buying this chopper. Originally it was a 1980 FXE Kick start only.and now it was turned into a custom.
84" Shovel, S&S Forged Pistons, Twin Plug Heads, Dyna Ignition, S&S carb, Motor only has 500 mi. since rebuild by a Harley dealer.
4 Spd Trans with Andrews internals.
Primo 3" open primary
8" over Wide Glide Front End with dual disc brakes.

Progressive Front and Rear Suspension.

Any help will be much appreciated in what you think this bike is worth.

Thanks.

Value does depend on where you are standing on the earth and howmuch you want something, ya know?
I'll guess that in Southern California it would be worth around $6,000 to $8500 but really does depend upon what kind of condition its in and, of course, how much ya want it. If the rest of the bike is in poor condition, assuming the engine is in like new condition, its value could drop to $2,000 to $3,000.
If you buy it, I hope it serves you well.

I am in Chicago if that makes a difference. He says the rest of the bike is in real good shape and was gone through when the motor was being built.

This bike has went way past the point of return. Pay what you feel it's worth, but it could be a rascal to resale. If it has a salvage title,I would run. Otherwise $4,000 to $4,500 tops regardless where you are.
