The king died today any thoughts?

My 06 Road King Started missing and acting like it was only running on 1 cylinder today. Pulled over and checked the plugs. they looked good. I had 16 miles on a fresh tank of fuel From a station I,ve never had trouble with before. I limped it about 2 miles to a gas station and waited on the tow. the bike would surge forward once in a while for a second like the 2nd cylinder was now getting fuel and then drop back to 1 cyilinder. Its now at the harley shop waiting to be looked at in the morning. any thought on what the trouble might be? and could I have hurt the engine " Limping 35 mph " on 1 cylinder to the station? It has the 28 degree injectors and a 95 in screaming eagle upgrade. also just turned over 20,000 miles Kkrommm

My Dyna ran similiar when a plug went bad. I put in new plugs and all was back to normal.

do you haveadjustable pushrods. If so they can come loose and leave you on 1 cylinder

kkromm, hat has the Harley shop told you so far?
Are you fuel infected? I ask as this past weekend the g/f and I rode frpm North Vancouver to Naniaom and down south to Victoria , all was great until we got ino stop and go traffic.
The bike died, I was able to coast to a safe spot and hit the electric start and as long as I kept RPM's up all was good.
Had a simialr occurance last summer and it turned out to be a cracked/broken wire on my Fuel Injection connector.
We spent a couple of hours on a yacht in the Harbour and she flashed up when she was cooland did not act up again.
I will try to do some wiggling of wires in the next day or two and go from there.

Cheers,
Rob
